REVITALIZING AND EMPOWERING SENIOR CENTERS ACROSS PENNSYLVANIA
The mission of PASC is to:
~Provide professional training towards the enhancement of Senior Centers.
~Promote communication with policy makers in the Commonwealth.
~Educate the public about the crucial role of Senior Centers.
~Collaborate with the PA Department of Aging, Long Term Living and the PA Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
PASC is the only professional organization advocating for senior community centers.
PASC provides regional trainings and an annual conference available to members at a discounted rate.
PASC was instrumental in the creation of the senior center grant program and
continues to advocate for a senior centers line item in the general budget.
PASC representatives meet regularly with staff from the Department of Aging, other state organizations and legislators….PASC is your voice in Harrisburg!
Membership newsletter provides advance notice on upcoming events. PASC created website (paseniorcenters.org) shares ideas and information.
Networking opportunities on a regional and statewide level provide creative,
successful programming and fundraising ideas.
PASC guides interested centers through the senior center certification program and the intensive training track for center personnel.

Motion Picture Licenses Available to PASC Members
at Reduced Rate
PASC recently entered into an agreement with the Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) to provide member centers with discounted rates on the Umbrella License. The discount of 25% or $240 per senior center is available to all PASC members. The license permits unlimited indoor showings and no reporting is required.
